Funny essays now...

Went through some funny essays written by my third-years (18 yr old) entitled "My Dream". I have ranked them according to how funny I think they are:

Second runner-up:
"I want to build a big Japanese house to live in when I am old. Of course, the house must have 'horigotatsu' (some Japanese contraption lah). And I want to drop dead there when taking my nap"...... "My house will be built according to Engel's coefficient." (yes, I think this student is strange too.)...... "And I want to have three children girl-boy-girl."

First runner-up:
This student wrote about how he wanted to travel the world, but he has no money so he might have to sleep on the streets. (He actually used the word vagabond which I taught him in class, and that made me quite happy) He would also have to be able to communicate in English. "But now I cannot speak any English and I can little understand what Cindy is saying in class. At once, my little dream is to be able to speak to Cindy."

Winner:
"I want to marry a pilot because pilots earn a lot of money. And they are often not at home so I can go out and enjoy myself. But when he is home, I will be good wife. The job is dangerous. So I will buy expensive insurance for him, and get the money when he dies."
