I have running water again!

Yay! Water in the pipes melted, so I have running water again! (A private company was supposed to melt the water in the pipes yesterday afternoon but we got back too late from snowboarding. Had to go to a private company cos most Japanese companies are closed for about 3 days for New Year.)

Lesson: My friend Yoko, who helped call my landlord and the private water company, told me to leave the tap running if I'm away for a long period of time so that the water keeps moving in the pipe and won't freeze.
