My car got crushed by snow!
First day of school. Bitterly cold. -10 deg. The water in my pipes froze within 7 hours - I went to bed at 1am and woke up at 8am. The inside of my windows were all frosted...the usual condensation actually froze! Little did I expect that my day was gonna get a whole lot worse...
At about 10am, the school office clerk asked me to go to the carpark. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw my car! A snow-clearing company was clearing snow off the roof of the school and apparently, a huge heap of snow fell on my car. The roof of my car has a huge dent (seriously, the roof kinda just caved in) and one of the window visors broke! And all the other cars were ok!! Super suay ok!! Anyway, the snow-clearance company will pay for the cost of repairs. My poor car...
Anyway, word spread around the staff room and the other teachers couldn't believe it as well and they were all taking little trips out to the carpark to scrutinise the damage on my car.

4 days to fix it. The car workshop was supposed to give me another car to use while mine was being repaired, but there's currently a shortage of rental cars cos many cars have been damaged by the snow and are being fixed. So I have to catch lifts from Patrick for the next few days. :(
