Fushimi Inari Shrine

Beautiful shrine. Countless torii gates forming tunnel walkways across Mt. Inari. The torii gates are donated by worshippers.

There happened to be a flower dedication ceremony while we were there. There were priests and prietesses as well as locals dressed up in kimonos. The ceremony lasted about an hour.

Maruyama Park

There was a hanami festival going on at the park. Many stalls set up and hanami parties going on.

Spots reserved for private hanami parties.

Even geishas came out to admire the cherry blossoms. These are trainee geishas (maiko).
