Marking listening tests

I think I've kind of gotten used to the strange answers that the kids write on their listening tests. Basically, they listen to a dialogue recorded by Patrick and I and answer questions. I actually get irritated now at some of the strange answers cos I wonder what on earth the students actually hear (especially since this batch I'm marking are from the third grade students and their English is pretty good).

Anyway, there was this one answer that made me laugh (the others just pissed me off):

Question: Name 1 bad point about keeping dogs as pets.
Answer: They look like human children (?!!)
