Change of clothes for the season

Observed that the kids are now in a transitional phase of changing into their winter uniforms. One of the teachers told me that in Japan, 1st Oct is the official day to change your clothes for the upcoming winter season. Some of the kids have started wearing their winter uniforms cos it's getting colder, but all of them will have to wear the winter one come 1st Oct. The male teachers too will all have to start wearing suits on 1st Oct, although some are already wearing light suits.
