Shibu Onsen & Monkey Onsen

After a pre-breakfast onsen bath, Keiko and I went for a morning walk. We found a morning market selling apples and grapes.

Onsen tamago being cooked in the hot spring water. 50-yen each.

Breakfast

A feast as usual. Salad, ham, grilled fish, sweet egg roll, tofu, pickles, seaweed, miso soup, and yogurt with plum.

Then we took a walk to the town's temple.

Then, we went to the nearby monkey onsen.

Monkeys playing with a pipe.

Monkey in onsen.

Playful monkey.

Monkey scared by Gino, Martin's stuffed toy monkey, before the keeper came and told us "dame!" which means cannot.

There were 2 monkeys at first but one ran away as soon as we placed Gino down. Their reactions were really funny.
