Homestay lunch & Iris festival

To thank the Sekines for their hospitality, Kate, Katie and I made lunch for them. Being typical ang mohs, they have stockpiles of pasta to get rid of before they leave, so they made shell pasta with tomato meat sauce and linguine with salmon in cream tomato sauce. I made salad and garlic bread (haha!).

(Clockwise from left): Katie, Kyoko (blocked), Grandpa and Kanta, Chiharu and Koharu, kids' dad, Kate and Sekine-san.
On my way back from the Sekines', I stopped at the Uenohara Iris Park which was having a festival. Unfortunately, I arrived too late and the stalls had closed. Managed to see the irises though.
