There's no turning back now...
Got issued my judo outfit today by Takahashi-sensei. It's fixed then...I will have to join the third-grader's PE class on Wednesday afternoon. While I've previously been really excited about learning judo, receiving the outfit felt like signing a contract. It suddenly dawned upon me that it could be very strenuous (maybe I'm getting too old to pick up a rigorous sport like judo), a lot of pain and I can't just drop out if I don't feel like continuing.
Spying the outfit on my desk, a teacher told me that it will be very exciting, but reminded me to remember to fall in the correct manner. YOSH! (this is what Japanese say when they're ready to embark on something) Will keep you updated on how my first lesson went, if I'm still in one piece after that.
